The FSB Cycling Team (Ciclistas del Valle) experienced record growth this year, close to a 25% increase, with a current membership at 116. Our racing roster greatly expanded this year with 8 racers on the Cat 1-3 squad, over 20 Cat 4 men, and more than 20 Cat 5 men. FSB also has one of the largest women’s teams in the area, now 34 strong with a growing contingent of active and developing racers. In addition to a large road racing group, many members also ride and race MTB and cyclocross and a large percentage also compete in duathlons and triathlons. If you know someone who has been thinking about joining the FSB Cycling Team, but missed out on the October membership drive, they are in luck! Our new kit has been so popular with members that we’ve opened up our JL Velo team store for a 2nd order. If they submit an application now they’ll be able to get in on the last clothing order of this membership year. The store will close on March 1, so make sure they don’t delay.
